Friday 13 March saw the beginning of British Science Week and we had lots of activities happening for all of the students.

Each year group had different activities – from electronics workshops, creep crawly visitors, cake decorating and lots more.

Year 5

  • Technology Tom – talk and demonstrations of discovery and inventions
  • An introduction to electronics
  • Design and build a pressure sensor alarm system
  • Alice in Wonderland moving mechanical structures

Year 6

  • Creepy Crawley Roadshow
  • Design a board game

Year 7

  • Fire service workshop
  • Cupcake decorating workshop
  • Tetrahedron (architecture and engineering)
  • Business guest speakers
  • Team building activities

Year 8

All activities for Year 8 were let by STEM Ambassadors
